Afternoon tea on the Verdana

So grown up!
This was before he walloped his guest with a croquet mallet.
Mom,  caught spying

Before, happy

Maude & Murphy, scaring off nefarious passersby
After, sad.
Obviously still a little sensitive to noise.
It's going to be a long soccer season

The camera retired early yesterday after an inadvertent boinking against my daughter's head  - so no photos of the boy, or of the little donkeys at the birthday party.  Not that he went anywhere NEAR the donkeys so it would've been two shots anyway.  Hopefully the thingamajiggy can be easily fixed or else we're going to have a lot of photos of the 1970s me posted here.

Postscript -
This was taken within a minute of when we turned on the car after her first day of school.

Good thing she doesn't mind the slime

First Day of Preschool

Pretty new dress for the first day, thanks to Auntie A.

The Drive:

The Parking Lot:

The tears - wait - where are the tears?
Grace, having fun at school.
Nevermind mommy, sobbing in the hallway.
[OK maybe not "sobbing" but definately in need of a tissue]

Day Three for the boy.
He did request I walk him in today but once inside the door he ran off to his classroom alone & only came back out to give his clingy needy mommy a kiss goodbye in order to avoid a scene.
